When meat putrefies in the intestine it creates toxic substances, one of them being ammonia, which kills pretty much everything around it. A 50 year old person that eats a typical western diet of animal sourced protein (eggs and dairy included) will have produced about 70 kg of ammonia, the equivalent of 3500 litres of Windex. How do you think that affects your friendly microbes in the gut? Sorry, to break it to you but it has to be said and the Big Agro will hate me a little bit more for saying it, but I’m in good company.

Your micro biome consists of 10 times more cells than our own cells, so who are you really? At least you won’t have to feel alone anymore. You are like a national park of microbes that breathes and connects with everything around it. Considering that most of those small parts of you live in your gut and depend on what you eat, it’s really true that “you are what you eat.” And considering that 80% of your immune system is in your gut, you have to love every little creature living in symbiosis with you, and feed it with what makes it healthy. What is this miracle treatment? Plants! An unrefined all plant-based diet is the most important treatment. It gives us the nutrients, the fibre that our small friends live of, and the energy charge that best corresponds to our own species.
The truth is, we feed it crap and poison. The news about the micro biome and its importance to us is booming in the scientific literature. It seems to be correlated to about every modern disease in one way or the other; arthritis, cancer, hypertension, dementia, depression, autoimmune disorders, and much more. What is obvious has been obvious thousands of years: that if you help your body by living natural and healthy, it will help you get rid of toxins and in the long run, disease.

O•live Retreat demystifies health and in the process it stands clear that health is far from drugs or injections made from petrochemicals.
First we make sure you know yourself, your body and what that means. Then we continue on your healthy path to get to know your body and yourself to do a good cleanse on all levels, Body·Mind·Soul. With over 15 years in this business and, as Conde Nast Travel and some others put it "top-ranked" health retreat, we base our work our own O• method, derived from a multitude of methods, both old and new. You'll get healthier in all areas of life as we don't think one can leave health at home while going to work, we can't say we are healthy if we destroy our bodies over the weekend or vice versa. One is either healthy or not, and what that means can only be defined by each and one and if that is to indulge in the unhealthy stuff it's because it's really worth it for the only judge - you.
The key training for professionals (individuals and groups) is focused on enhanced productivity through self-inspiration and self-care. As a high equity manager in the finance sector put it - it's all about staying highly inspired. We couldn't agree more and we know how that biochemistry looks like.
Independent studies find that 96% of our guests become more healthy and stay healthy after 6 months, 82% stay healthy after a year. This is a better rate than anyone other treatment or training, as far as we know. Our teachings are based on modern science, and ancient evidence based techniques, and a lot of personal experience with trial and error, in the field of being a healthy human. and healing.
We start all training with a health assessment and by asking what healthy means to each one? How you define it is what counts, but one thing is similar for all no matter what you learnt - a natural, anti-inflammatory lifestyle is everything we need (without drugs) but many things our society finds "normal" cause inflammation and therefore diseases. For those who are healthy and ready to take their own health out to the world, do more for others and the Earth or have a story to tell we offer Kindfullness projects, support, editing, writing, marketing, translation and publishing.(www.hardonkarma.com)
