Your Mind Health Will Manifest in Your Body

At Olive Retreat we have one main objective; we teach you how to “listen” to your Body & Mind signals to stay healthy. These signals have made us evolve and survive in any environment, but now largely forgotten in most modern societies. We have started to rely on external thoughts and recommendations from “experts”. Science always evolves and constantly changes. What was a recommendation a few years ago, is now obsolete. We trust them, rather than ourselves and in doing so we have lost a great part of the connection with ourselves, we don’t listen in. The signals are still there and they are very powerful, and can in some cases be visually seen, and always felt. The effect your mind can have on your physical body and vice versa are obvious. One way to connect to your body and mind is through mindfulness and meditation, reaching the brain waves that removes stress in your whole body and so heals us and connects us to ourselves.

Meditation is good but it is not the only way in which we can heal. We can’t keep on eating crap food and have a healthy mind, and we can’t stay in negative mental attitudes without finally get a manifestation in our body. If there is no judgment there is no negativity, nor positivity, it is just one long process. Previous blogs from this week are about this mind health. The chart below shows how the mind is in every cell and how we clearly see the effect of our thoughts and emotions (our “non-mass” part) in our body  (our mass part). There are several studies that confirm this knowledge and one of the oldest ways to explain it is through the Chakra system (tomorrows blog), equal to modern science in for example the Psychosomatic Science or Quantum Medicine.

We can deal directly with our internal challenges and create a healthy lifestyle, or we can be negative and be “caught in our Ego”, have self destructive thoughts and not deal with our internal issues, or possibly even cloak those issues with affirmations and positivity without finding the route of our negativity and therefore stay in it. In turn we create an unhealthy lifestyle. Why is this?

Our emotions and experiences are essentially energy and they can be stored in the cellular memory of our bodies. Have you ever experienced something in your life that left an emotional mark or pain in a certain area of your body? Our nervous system often manifest blockages in the nerve ends of certain areas depending on the emotions and feelings from an event. Almost as if it can still be felt. The Ayurvedic explanation is that energies get blocked, not that we have less energy but that energies don’t flow, frozen from different painful events in life. This knowledge is the base of acupuncture and many other body therapies. It is always faster to treat the non-mass part of us, or both the body and mind if we can.
